I am happy to say that we have returned from our trip east to find our new home finally in a state of spring. Here are some of my favorites.....
the way aspens shimmer in the breeze
the gush of the Snake River as snow melt blasts through the valley
the shock of green grass and new tree leaves against the snowy mountain tops (particularly in polarized sunglasses)
moose nibbling along creeks
people running, biking, playing with dogs, and generally happy NOT to be cold
clouds swirling around The Grand Teton
the site of people eating outside at Grumpies Goat Shack in Victor
the ability to rock climb in daylight past 9:00PM
everything about the City of Rocks
exploring new kinds of wildflowers
oh and finally wearing flip flops!!

Jess- i love your 'top ten' list. it really paints a vivid picture in my mind. oh yeah, and your beautiful photos help too! we can't wait to see you guys next month!
